The Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken Restaurant on Waterloo Road has some new elements to its indoor decor — artwork from kids.

The restaurant hosted a little artist reception last night and is now displaying, until the start of the new school year, student art from Glover CLC students from all grades. In the fall, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken will replace this art with more art from Glover!

The students receive their artwork framed to take home after it has been on display. Special thanks to Community Relations Director Carla Sibley for her work on the project.

Art teacher Jodi Crossley told us, “It is vitally important for young art students to see and own their work, framed. It is a matter of importance and value, and it warms my heart.  This is an everlasting memory for our young artists.”
